My Research process
When choosing a topic I had no sense of direction at first. It was difficult to find subject that was one interesting, two didn't have anything to do with the US, and three taken place in the last 6 months. After a short time of seraching I knew that picking a subject I had big intrests in wouldnt be a smart choice. I tend to wonder off when researching things I like for school. I'll get distracted at the pretty pictures and not be able to complete actual research. The Conflict between China and Australia turned out to be a perfect subject. At first there was no reason for me picking this other than the fact that It met all the research requirements. But fortunetly for me this research paper gave me a blast from the past. I grew up watching this guy named "Steve Irwin" he was a animal conservationist back in the early 2000's. His quircky accent and undying respect for animals had me jumping for joy every saturday morning when his show would come on. Australia is seen as a death country where just about every living thing wants to kill you, thats extremely true. But I was able to research Australia in a way in which I have never viewed the country. Australia is a very highly advanced and developed country despite finding King Cobras in your closet every morning. The advanced technological systems of the gas line allow for Australia to be a very well respected country. In addition to having a slight fear of Australia in all its venomous glory I was almost able to say I conquered part of my slight fear as researching gave me an insight into their ingenuity and political advances.
